Allergy season has hit the Cincinnati area with a vengeance. The pollen count has been off the charts this week. Normal levels are around 120-150, and this week it has been 3200-3800! This means red itchy, watery, swollen eyes, sneezing, sniffling, runny noses, nasal congestion, post-nasal drip, and sore throats. (more…)

Flu Information
As you all know the flu is here. So too are colds, bronchitis, strep, and the usual fall G.I. bugs that cause vomiting & diarrhea. We are busy!! We are trying very hard to see as many of our patients as possible.
Symptoms of the H1N1 flu are similar to those of seasonal flu. We are being told that the only flu that is active just now is the H1N1 flu. Symptoms include the following: Fever, Cough, Headache, Body aches, Runny Nose, Sore throat, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea. If your child has these symptoms they need to stay home until after they have been free of fever for 24 hours and they should avoid contact with other people. (more…)
